I baked "pulla" today. It is traditional Finnish sweet bread and very delicious! It is SO good when it is just baked and fresh and still little warm. I love to eat it with cold milk, like I just did 10 min ago. Yummy!!! I never use a recipe when I bake pulla. I've been baking it for so many years... I'd say close to 30 years and the recipe is in my head! But if you want to try it, just Google "pulla recipe" and you'll find many good recipes. Many "American versions" tell you to add more than 2 eggs to a normal size dough, but traditional pulla dough only needs 2 eggs. The ingredients for pulla are; milk, yeast, salt, sugar, egg, cardamom, butter and flour. Simple, but so good! You can see pictures of my pullas below.
